Nuclear Medicine and Medical Instrument

Nuclear medicine and medical instrument making is a cluster of technologies for early diagnosis of oncological diseases, non-invasive surgery techniques and instrumentation for medicine; it includes 7 portfolio companies of RUSNANO. This socially significant cluster includes such technologies as nuclear medicine, modern radionuclide methods of diagnostics - positron emission tomography, single-photon emission computed tomography, and radionuclide therapy—open sources of radiation for the treatment of diseases of the thyroid gland, radioimmunotherapy, brachytherapy. The total of 26 nuclear medicine centers has been created in Russia.
