Igor Shuvalov Meets with Sergey Kulikov, Head of RUSNANO

Igor Shuvalov, the head of VEB.RF, has had a working meeting with Sergey Kulikov, Chairman of the Executive Board of RUSNANO Management Company, in RUSNANO’s headquarters.

During the meeting they discussed questions relating to the organization of cooperation on administrative reforms and high-priority joint projects. In the course of their conversation, it was pointed out that, in its work on organizing development institutions, VEB would need to draw on RUSNANO’s expertise, particularly in relation to the latter’s innovation activities.

On October 23, 2020 Mikhail Mishustin, head of the Government of the Russian Federation, announced a reform of the system of development institutions. After the reorganization their work should be synchronized with the national development goals defined by the President, and with the national projects.

RUSNANO Joint-Stock Company was founded in March 2011 through reorganization of state corporation Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies. Work to establish nanotechnology infrastructure and carry out educational programs is fulfilled by RUSNANO’s Fund for Infrastructure and Educational Programs, which was also established during the reorganization of the Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies.
