Plastic Logic Technology Day at RUSNANO
RUSNANO’s Portfolio Company, Plastic Logic, held a presentation of its new advanced plastic electronics technologies at RUSNANO's office during the Plastic Logic Technology Day on 14th May 2012.
The breakthroughs include a world’s first E-Ink-based flexible display able to play video and a E-Ink-based plastic display with color. The key difference of Plastic Logic devices from other organic display technology is that not only the substrate is made of plastic, but the controller ICs as well—thus paving the way for printable electronics. It ensures that new displays are extremely durable—in fact, such a screen can be cut in half and continue working!
